About us

We create and publish original comics and graphic novels.

Makers of independent illustrated fiction

Dedicated to creating high-quality illustrated entertainment, creative collaborators Nick Barker and Ellie Katona formed Bristol-based independent publisher Hero-type to tell stories inspired by our early lives growing up in Melbourne, Australia.
